*Job Description:*
Our marketing/sales specialist is responsible for analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotional strategies, evaluating market data trends to identify business opportunities for revenue resources and profitability.
The person(s) in this role will be responsible for meeting customer needs while obtaining orders from existing or potential sales outlets.
They ensure that the customer is satisfied and adequately taken care of while making a purchase.
This role will focus on new business-to-business (B2B) relationships, and maintenance of existing relationships.
*Position Duties/Responsibilities:*
· Identify potential business partners and potential valuable target contacts.
· Identify, find, and follow up on sales leads, call on past and prospective clients, focus on target markets and make all attempts to meet in person.
· Nurture and on-board new clients.
· Plan and execute plans to influence those markets and opportunities to increase revenue and enhance client satisfaction.
· Identify and attend industry and professional events and meetings that are productive use of time and resources in networking with target client companies and customers.
· Work to develop professional, trusting, and ethical relationships with potential and existing client individuals.
· Track activity and generate department progress using relative KPI’s of which will be presented to company Directors.
· Make marketing and information gathering phone calls and emails to target new and existing customers on a regular basis and track same, along with responses/results.
· Maintain master customer contact database.
· Assist in preparing and distributing marketing materials such as brochures, Power Point presentations, newsletters, and email blasts.
· Maintaining communication with clients to ensure projects are being properly executed and new opportunities are being identified/developed.
· Always operate ethically and professionally, ensuring favorable impressions of self and the company.
* Position requires 45-50% travel, including overnights.
Territory includes but is not limited to the Southwest United States
* Performing other duties as assigned
*Qualifications:*
* 2-3 years’ experience building trusted relationships with clients.
* Proven experience as a marketing specialist or similar role
* Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/social media etc.
) and market research methods
* Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools
* Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite and CRM), and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.
)
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.
g.
Dreamweaver) desired
* Well-organized and detail-oriented
* Exceptional communication and writing skills.
* Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.
* Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to conduct meetings and presentations.
· Professional appearance and demeanor along with proven organizational, supervisory, and analytical skills

*Physical Requirements:*
· Must be able to drive for prolonged periods of time.
· Be able to travel by motor vehicle and air.
· Must be able to lift-up to 15 pounds at times.
