POSITION: Secondary – Associate Principal of Operations

REPORTS TO: Campus Principal
SUPERVISES: Supervise and evaluate the performance of personnel as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Master’s degree from accredited college or university
Valid Mid-Management certification
Certified in the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS)
EXPERIENCE:
Three years of experience as a successful classroom teacher
Three years of experience in instructional leadership roles
Position Function/Purpose
Assist the head campus principal in overall administration of school operations.
Assume the role of principal during the head principal’s absence.
Essential functions
Campus Personnel:
Maintain staff postings, substitute processes, and HR related requirements
Manage new-hire on-boarding
Conduct T-TESS appraisals
Act as Campus PEIMS coordinator
Coordinate and conduct interviews for potential staff members
Supervise Assistant Principals
Organizational Processes:
Create and maintain Campus Master Schedule
Coordinate and oversee Staff and Student Schedules
Coordinate calendar of school events and administrative assignments
Oversee student enrollment processes
Coordinate campus activities
Oversee summer school organization and processes
Coordinate and monitor campus attendance processes
Serve as campus contact for gradebook and gradebook training
Coordinate and oversee graduation
Coordinate and maintain campus website
Coordinate and oversee school safety and emergency plans
Oversee all campus testing logistics
Manage and oversee federal funding grants and requirements
Support the development of campus budget
