Teacher Assistant

Responsibilities: - Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities - Provide support and guidance to students in their learning and development - Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, and in restrooms.
- Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students - Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies - Assist with preparing materials and resources for lessons and activities Skills: - Experience in babysitting, childcare, preschool, or similar roles is a plus but not needed.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices is a plus nut not needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children - Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team - Basic understanding of behavior management techniques - Experience in working with young children is a plus - Knowledge of special education strategies is an asset Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change based on the needs of the school or classroom.
