Job Summary:
Plan and implements curriculum activities and lesson plans, establishes developmentally appropriate room arrangement, in a learning environment in the classroom, maintains classroom records, ensures that classrooms and other play areas are consistently clean and safe, inform parents of their child's progress, closing your classroom in the evening, sanitizing the toys, tables & chairs.
Keeps director informed on a timely basis of pertinent issues regarding staff, children, families, and the program.
Requirements:
At least 18 years of age
High School diploma or G.
E.
D.
Pass a full background check, including fingerprints and drug test
MUST be dependable
Attendance is very important
MUST have patience
The job is very active
Previous experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred, but not required.
Should be a self-starter, friendly, outgoing, strong communication skills, and a willingness to play!
Applicants should be able to:
Lift 10-50 lbs.
Change diapers
Interact with children and adults
Have a strong work ethic/ability to work on a team well and be a team player
