Baker
Part Time Shift available
Experience
One two years as a baker or a bakery background preferred.
Knowledge of yeasts and other pre-ferments encouraged.
Previous food service experience a plus.
Must be customer service oriented and enjoy working in a student-oriented environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for producing standard baked goods such as cakes, cookies, biscuits, muffins and various types of puddings
Unload, clean and operate mixers
Maintains all daily production, sanitation sheets and applicable forms to ensure all procedures are met
Assists with cleaning the kitchen and maintaining a sanitary work area
Meet or exceed all established HACCP sanitation and safety standards
Other duties as required & assigned
Special Skills
Must be dependable and reliable.
Also, need the ability to make desserts from scratch.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
Experienced in production line baking or food processing.
Must be knowledgeable about proper food handling and safety guidelines.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 75 pounds without assistance.
Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time.
Must be detail oriented with the ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and follow directions for equipment and recipe production.
